Do NOT purchase anything from this company. When the software does not recover your data, they will do anything they can to get out of giving you a refund. They are a fraudulent company and have no people skills whatsoever!
I noted another review which was similar to my terrible experience dealing with this company.
In my case, I needed the software to retrieve some files from a USB drive which was mistakenly reformatted. I will readily admit that the software worked extremely well and I was able to recover virtually all of my lost data intact. The product performed as advertised, and the interface was simple enough to navigate when I used it. Then...why the one star review?!?
It is because of the subscription business model that this company uses to sell it’s software. IMO, it’s a scam designed to generate additional revenue by making subsequent credit card charges after the initial purchase. I was careful to make sure to switch the “auto renewal” option to “off” prior to finalizing my purchase (it was set to “on” by default). Because of my own previous experiences in dealing with companies that used the “subscription model”, I decided to take a screen shot of my order just before finalizing...just in case. It clearly shows the auto renewal option set to “off”.
So, imagine my surprise when a month after the one time I used their product I received an email saying my subscription charge had just been applied?? I contacted the vendor (2checkout?, in my case) and informed them of the error and that I had made sure to turn off the monthly subscription option at the time of my purchase. I told them I took a screenshot of the purchase to support my claim. Accordingly, I requested a refund of my latest CC charge.
They told me that they needed to consult with easeUS, as they must first approve any refunds to be issued by the vendor/authorized seller. They would all jointly “investigate” and get back to me. Not sure why an investigation was warranted....this was all done online, and every facet of the purchase was readily available to both companies...and from their own internal records!
Soon enough, I was contacted by easeUS customer service. They informed me that, as a result of my complaint/refund request, they had “successfully” managed to cancel my subscription. According to their records, I had never cancelled my monthly subscription and as a result I was charged according to the original agreement. As such, they were unwilling to issue a refund. In a grandiose gesture of good will, they offered me a conversion to a free lifetime subscription...which I can only assume was to lessen the sting of the refund request being denied.
As you may imagine, that did not sit well with me. I had already wasted far too much time going back and forth between these two companies, and I have played this type of business “ropey dope” before. Reminded me of all those sleazy mail-order book/cd/record clubs from the 1980s, offering you those “12 CDs for the price of one”.... just join our club, and we will send you our selection each month...cancel at anytime”! Ya, right!
They all used the subscription business model, and for the exact same reason,...to generate additional income subsequent to the original sale via questionable “subscription” charges. They will end up keeping a large percentage of those...simply because most people will be worn down attempting to get a refund, or some may simply not notice the unexpected CC charges. Indeed, some may not notice the auto renewal option or may forget to turn it off. In my case, I was careful to make sure to do so because of my previous experiences. Luckily, I was cautious enough to take a screenshot of my purchase...or I would have had no evidence to support my claim.
When I was informed by easeUS that my refund request was denied, I responded that I had no interest in a lifetime subscription....and certainly not with a company which has already proven itself untrustworthy. I insisted that a refund is the only thing that would satisfy me...and at this point, I had no faith in their ability to do the right thing. I informed them I was through dealing with them, that I would dispute the charge directly with Visa, and that I would provide Visa with the evidence to support my claim (emails/screenshot). I also promised them I would make sure to visit any review site I could, to spare others the time and trouble I went through dealing with this. I signed off my last email as “in great frustration”.
A few hours go by and I am once again contacted...this time, by both easeUS and the vendor. Lo and behold, my refund was magically approved and would be issued by the vendor in a few days. How convenient!
Bottom line: the product worked like a charm, and my research found that it was the best of the bunch in terms of performance. Still, if you do decide to risk doing business with this company...I ADVISE YOU TO DOCUMENT YOUR PURCHASE WITH SCREENSHOTS TO PROVE YOU TURNED “AUTO RENEWAL” TO “OFF”! U still may be charged even after doing so, but now u have proof!

I Have Been Backup My Windows 10 Using EaseUs
Recently my HHD has Crashed & Died Now i have spent time to reinstall A new windows 10 & tried to restore the Backup info but it seems my Ext Drive that hold all backups didnt allow me to restore Specific folders Like "Users"
After a quick session Whit Mr Gap from the Online Chat ha has connected to my system remotely & Very Quickly find the Issue & resolve the Info restore using one of the EaseUs Tools
I Am More the Happy & thankful For Mr Gap Remote Support all of my Data has Been Restored !!!

Terrible. Did not live up to their promise, no refund even though they clearly state that they offer a 30 day back money guarantee if you're not satisfied.
The online chat was not helpful at all. I had to wait ages just to get a response even though they had started the chat. They didn't even introduce themselves. No name, no identity. It was like talking to a robot.
I can't stress to you enough not to buy this product. I had to purchase another recovery software package which worked perfectly!!

I purchased EaseUS todo PCtrans which stated it would allow me to image my apps, documents and users, (sans OS), and transfer them back onto a newly installed Windows 10Pro OS. Not only did it not perform as promised, it didn't reinstall half of the apps and docs, and the customer service support was functionally useless. I would strongly recommend avoiding their software and seek another company.
Alex was knowledgeable and patient and was able to overcome many hurdles in helping install the new versions. This is what I call excellent support. Thank you.
